Surveying the valley…
One valley. Two rifles that keep changing. Wind does not care about either of you.
Same seed = same valley. Handy when you find a map you like.
The easy one. You both type the same four letters — one hosts, one joins, and you're connected. Works anywhere in the world.
Send your friend the code, or just send them this link:
—
Both of you on the same Wi-Fi. One person runs node server.mjs,
both open the address it prints, then pick the same room name here.
You're on the hosted build, which serves files only —
there's no LAN relay here. Use Direct Link instead (it needs no server at all), or download
the project and run node server.mjs at home.
Anywhere in the world, no server. Trade two codes over chat and you're connected.
2 · Send it to your friend. Paste their reply below.
1 · Paste the invite code your friend sent.
3 · Send it back. The match starts the moment you're linked.
Rounds drop, drift, and take time to arrive. At 600 m a bullet is in the air for most of a second — if he's walking, lead him.
Zero is the range at which your scope tells the truth. Set it to the distance you expect to shoot and hold dead-on. Past it, hold over using the mil dots; the range card (H) tells you exactly how many mils.
Wind is shown top-centre. A 6 m/s crosswind pushes a round most of a metre at 500 m.
Sway shrinks when you crouch, shrinks more prone, and nearly stops when you hold your breath — but breath runs out, and sprinting first makes it worse.
Sound travels. Distant shots arrive late; a round passing close cracks before you hear the rifle. Thunder and flak barrages mask your shot completely — fire during one and he learns nothing.
Every kill promotes you one rifle, bolt guns first, ending on a suppressed thermal rifle. Kill with that and you win. Knife someone and they drop a rung instead.
